We had a blast at the American Advertising Awards held last Saturday, January 25 at the Paramount Theater in downtown St. Cloud. We took home an agency-high 14 awards! The annual awards competition was hosted by the American Advertising Federation of Central Minnesota and celebrates excellence in advertising.
Gaslight’s innovative body of work impressed the out-of-market judges, including projects created for Third Street Brewhouse, Mathew Hall Lumber, McDonald’s Meats, Vision Woodworking, The March of Dimes of Central Minnesota as well as our own website, infographics and USB campaign.
Our seven-member team of graphic designers, web developers, copywriters, account managers and marketing strategists also developed the theme for this year’s award ceremony. Each year, the agency that won Best of Show the year before is honored with this task. Our “Alter Ego” theme was so much fun; check out more about this year’s theme on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Gaslight partners with a wide range of local and regional clients and has garnered a total of 42 American Advertising Awards since its inception in 2009. The agency is headquartered in Downtown St. Cloud, but we also have an office in Minneapolis. Stop by and see us!
ABOUT THE AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS:
The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. The local American Advertising Awards are the first of a three-tier, national competition. The most creative entries in each category are selected via a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold Award recognizes the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition. A Silver Award recognizes entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on relative quality of work in that category.
