Account Manager

Gaslight Creative, an award-winning boutique agency located in St. Cloud, Minnesota, is looking for an experienced Account Manager. This is a fast-paced, dynamic and client-facing role at a fun, flexible, family-forward company.   • Builds strong, long-term client relationships by maintaining frequent contact with the client
  • Has business acumen to articulate how the clients’ business objectives and marketing strategy translate to client needs and to creative actions
  • Proactively engages with client on projects to mitigate issues, respond to clients timely and resolve issues ensuring client contentment
  • Manages clients’ budgets and billing
  • Drives and facilitates client and internal meetings and pro-actively prepares the team for the meetings/presentations to ensure everyone is aligned, prepared and organized
  • Ensures quality on client deliverables for accuracy and meeting defined goals
  • Manages all aspects of creative and technical production for print and digital deliverables from client discovery to completion
  • Develops and manages timelines to ensure deliverables and projects remains on track and sensibly takes the appropriate action when off track
  • Prioritize tasks and deliverables for each project for the team and issues status reports
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment


  • College graduate
  • Minimum of 5 years in marketing, communications, or advertising in agency setting
  • Copywriting skills required
  • Media and/or print production experience preferred but not required
  • Organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills are incredibly important
  • Ability to think strategically, take direction and have the confidence to move things forward
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment with changing needs and requirements
  • Must be comfortable collaborating with other team members as well as clients
  • Must be able to inspire progress while maintaining empathy and an understanding for both your clients and team members. Authenticity is a must
  • Must have the ability to work in the gray and be solution oriented and not get rattled by delay, project limitations, or ambiguity
  • Ability to break down project scopes, create a project plan, identify tasks, navigate process, risk, milestones all while being deadline driven
